Job Description

The Senior Financial Business Analyst will function as a strategic contributor for Workday Financial processes. This role will provide oversight in all financial applications initiatives and be able to advice the Sr. leaders on world class financial systems.

Senior Analysts are expected to support organizational goals by acting as a liaison between IT and business (multiple departments / systems). Provides detailed business analysis to outline business problems and opportunities identified solutions.

Essential duties/responsibilities:

1. Serve as a strategic partner for WD Financial and key liaison and IT point of contact for business leaders and stakeholders including business finance leads, controller, people leaders and CAO to define, implement and maintain Workday configurations and workflows for supported modules.

2. Be able to advice and influence decisions with Sr. leaders.

3. Demonstrate expertise and ownership for the configuration, enhancement, maintenance, and testing of the Workday system.

4. Serve as the IT's primary contact and coordinator for financial systems upgrades/enhancements.

5. Manages the following tasks for the Workday systems:

a. Security administration for all users.

b. Coordinate and run user testing and manage the launch of business processes.

c. Proactively prepare for annual activities and bi-annual releases supported by the Workday system.

Working with all cross functional departments to implement related changes to workstreams.

d. Collaborate with functional business owners and subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather high level and detailed requirements for Financials Management.

e. Development and maintenance of technical system documentation surrounding all financial processes and related interfaces that impact the financial accounting and reporting systems.

f. Responsible for business process configurations, testing, and deployment while ensuring data integrity.

6. Serve as a primary lead in all Workday Finance/ERP current and future initiatives

Required job skills:

Strong experience in strategically designing and leading global ERP projects especially Financial modules such as Accounts Payable, FP&A, Revenue, Procurement etc.

Strong working knowledge of finance modules of Workday application

5+ years managing global Workday deployments

A minimum of 2 full life cycle ERP Financial implementations

Experience gathering and aligning business requirements across stakeholders that span job level and function

Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills. Must be able to explain technical concepts and analysis clearly to a diverse audience, including senior executives, and be able to

translate business objectives into actionable analyses

Strong planning and execution skills.

Highly responsive, organized and detail oriented.

Ability to be flexible and handle multiple priorities with a sense of urgency.

Ability to take initiative and work independently.
