Job Description

10+ years of overall IT experience
5+ years of hands on experience in cloud-based development(AWS cloud services/Databricks) and integration.
Solid tech skillset/experience in Big Data/Data Model, Scala, PySpark, Java
Strong knowledge on Spark technology - Data engineering pipeline
Strong Experience in complex SQL
Experience working in an agile delivery environment
Exposure/understanding of DevOps best practice and CICD (i.e. Jenkins, Git, )
MUST be able to demonstrate strong functional, technical skills
Strong communication, and problem-solving skills

Databricks

As a Senior Databricks Engineer, you will lead our data engineering efforts, pushing the boundaries of data processing and performance optimization on the project. You will be responsible for driving performance enhancements, you will focus on significantly increasing default ingestion speeds to meet the substantial data demands, ensuring our client systems operate at peak efficiency. Your role will involve tackling new and complex challenges, continuously seeking innovative solutions to improve data processing and performance.

Scala

Designing, creating, and maintaining Scala-based applications

Participating in all architectural development tasks related to the application.

Writing code in accordance with the app requirements

Performing software analysis

Making suggestions for enhancements to application procedures and infrastructure.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams

Experience: 5-8 Years .

Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $60,000 to $1,35,000 . Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
